  • The fourth Neten Chokling Rinpoche was born in Bhutan and recognized as the forth reincarnation of the great tertön Chogyur Lingpa by His Holiness the 16th Karmapa and His Holiness Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. He was brought to the Chokling monastery in Bir, India at the age of three. Rinpoche was able to recognize everyone and everything from his previous life. Chogyur Lingpa lived in the early part of the 19th century and was one the most renowned treasure revealers. His termas have been and continue to be practiced widely in both the Nyingma and Kagyu schools of Tibetan Buddhism.
