Founded at the request of Venerable Tsoknyi Rinpoche III  By the director and principal translator: Lotsawa Tony Duff

  The committee was established in 1993 by Lotsawa Tony Duff at the request of Tsoknyi Rinpoche. Lotsawa Tony has directed the committee ever since.

  The committee provides oral and written translation services for Tsoknyi Rinpoche and other teachers. The committee records and archives the dharma Teachings of Tsoknyi Rinpoche and other teachings.

  Mr. Tony Duff, Buddhist translator and scholar, travels with and translates for Tsoknyi Rinpoche at most of Tsoknyi Rinpoche’s Dzogchen retreats. Mr. Duff has been a full-time Buddhist practitioner and scholar since 1973. He has been a member of several translation committees and has published/been involved in the publication of many Tibetan Buddhist texts. He has been doing oral translation for many years and has translated for several well-known teachers of all four Tibetan Buddhist traditions. He is available to translate for other teachers.

  The committee actively pursues textual translations. A number of translations are available in paper.

  The committee has a special interest in electronic publications. To this end the committee has developed a whole set of IBM compatible software for working with the Tibetan language. Dictionaries and a number of major Tibetan texts are already available.

  Recordings and Archives Division. This division of the committee records and archives the dharma teachings of Tsoknyi Rinpoche III and his brother Mingyur Rinpoche (Terton Mingyur Dorje). The teachings presented mainly concern the practice of Dzogchen's "Thorough Cut" (threkcho) practice.
