or just lung stan phug, at Lapchi, the "Prophesied Cave of the Great Forest", situated just below Chöra Gephel Ling monastery. Acording to local history, and to a guide to Lapchi, composed in 1901 by the 34th throne holder (gdan rabs) of the Drikung Kagyu, bstan ’dzin chos kyi blo gros (1869-1906), this cave was not used by Milarepa himself but by a student of Drikung Kyobpa Jigten Sumgon, who prophesied that he would achieve great realisation there.
