Lotsawa House

Lotsowa House

Lotsawa* House features important translations of buddhist texts from Tibetan into English and other languages by translators from the Wu Tai Shan Clan and their friends. We offer these translations freely for the use of Dharma students. You are welcome to copy and distribute them, but we request that you make every effort to make them available free of charge. If you would like to include these translations in any publication please contact the translators by email. At the moment, we offer translations of works by many of the greatest masters of Tibetan Buddhism, especially the founding fathers of the Rimé Movement and their spiritual successors, such as:

Gyalwa Longchen Rabjam (1308-1363) Rigdzin Jikmé Lingpa (1729-1798) Gyalsé Shenpen Tayé (b.1800) Khenpo Pema Vajra (c.1805-1884) Patrul Rinpoche (1808-1887) Nyala Pema Duddul (1816-1872) Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo (1820-1892) Jamgön Mipham Rinpoche (1846-1912) Dodrupchen Jikme Tenpe Nyima (1865-1926) Thubten Chökyi Drakpa (d.1908) Khenchen Shenga (1871-1927) Jamyang Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö (1893-1959) Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche (1904-1987) Kyabje Chadral Rinpoche (b.1913) Khenpo Thubten Tsöndru (1920-1979) Khenchen Jikmé Phuntsok (1933-2004) H.H. the Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso (b.1935) Alak Zenkar Rinpoche (b.1943)   Many of these texts have never been translated before.
