Sumatikirti


According to Situ Padma Nyinje, a Nepalese student of the master Vajrapani. He taught the tantras and practices of Jinasagara to Rechungpa, the foremost heartson of Milarepa. Another illustrous student of Sumatikirti's appears to have been the famous Khyungpo Naljor, forefather of the Shangpa Kagyu school. He is mentioned in twenty-six texts which he helped translate into Tibetan.
