Vairochana's name is improperly spelled in the [JV] entry as "rnam par snang mdzod" rather than "rnam par snang mdzad", I'll leave it to the editors to determine how this should be corrected. smyo po

Done. By the way, does anyone know where the word "dhyani buddhas" came from? EPK

My guess is that is is a different form of the word [skt] Dhyāna [pali] Jhāna which refers to an aspect of meditation. smyo po
