Yongey Mingyur Dorje Rinpoche (b 1976) (yongs dge mi 'gyur rin po che)
Mingyur Rinpoche is a lama in the Kagyu and Nyingma schools. Rinpoche was recognized as the incarnation of the previous Mingyur Rinpoche by the 16th Karmapa, and as the incarnation of Kangyur Rinpoche by Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. From the time he was eight, rinpoche spent most of his time in strict retreat. He first lived with his father, Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, at Nagi Gonpa in the hills above Kathmandu.
