Firefox linux[edit]
You need to use a firefox version that has Pango enabled. From version 1.5 pango is enabled by default, but some linux distros chose to disable Pango and sometimes Pango-enabled firefox is a different package (firefox-pango). Pango is responsible for complex-script rendering necessary for proper Tibetan Unicode display. Domschl 12-Dec-2006.
