It would be interesting to know the background how this is translated as 'flavored channel', as I have not seen this in any other sources. (KHS)
May be an all too literal interpretation? Certainly the Sanskrit doesn't suggest this at all. Also, Rangjung Dorje in his zab mo nang don and in his own commentaries on it, doesn't suggest anything like this... (TSD)
