Syn chos kyi sdom bzhi. the Four Seals that Signify the Teachings, Buddha's Words, or Four Seals Indicative of the Transmitted Precepts:
- All composite things are impermanent, or All that is compounded is impermanent ('dus byas thams cad mi rtag pa);
- All defiling things are suffering, or All that is corrupt is suffering (zag bcas thams cad sdug bsngal ba);
- All phenomena are empty and devoid of a self-entity, or All things are without self (chos thams cad stong zhing bdag med pa);
- Nirvana is peace/quiescence (mya ngan las 'das pa zhi ba). (RY)
