The Rimé Foundation is a non-profit organization, based in the United States and Nepal, that was created to serve the Western Buddhist community by:
- Translating important Buddhist texts into the English language
- Creating web-based resources to facilitate the study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism
- Aid Western Buddhist communities by helping them to invite and host Buddhist teachers (particularly in the Minneapolis/Twin Cities area)
- Create links between different groups and organizations with the aim to share resources and work together to accomplish common goals
