DharmaDictionary.net aims to be:
- a dictionary of current usage for translators & translation groups
- a compilation site for past dictionaries and glossaries between Tibetan and English
- a lotsawa website of resources and translation-tools
- a place to include glossaries of new translation works
- as non-sectarian and open-minded as possible
- available on the Internet for free use by everyone
- dynamic and growing, rather than static and stagnant
- a record of the teachers and translators involved in bringing the Dharma into the English language
