::Not certain of what your question is.  Are you asking if Drakpa Senge was 3rd Karmapa, rather than 1st Shamarpa?  If that is the case, then no.  3rd Karmapa Rangjung Dorje and 1st Shamar Rinpoche were contemporaries, with Shamar Rinpoche being considered as the principle student of Karmapa.[[KT|[KT]]] 04:01, 15 October 2007 (EDT)

Not certain of what your question is. Are you asking if Drakpa Senge was 3rd Karmapa, rather than 1st Shamarpa?
