Kagyupa protective deity, particularly associated with Benchen monastery and the Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoches, also known as the special protector of the pure realm of the Buddha Amithaba, Dewachen. Said to be an emanation of the four-armed Mahakala [[ye shes kyi mgon po phyag bzhi pa]] who, in turn, is an emanation of Chakrasamvara [['khor lo bde mchog]].
