Wangchuk Dorje , dbang phyug rdo rje, (1556-1603). The 9th Karmapa is particulary famous for the three treatises on Mahamudra which he composed; "Mahamudra, the Ocean of Certainty", "Mahamudra, Dispelling the Darkness of Ignorance" and "Pointing out the Dharmakaya".
