The householder Palkye; renounced his troublesome family life at the age of one hundred to became a monk. The novice monks used to tease him constantly about his age. Weary, he went to a solitary place and practiced with such diligence that he soon became an arhat and came, flying through the air, into the presence of Lord Buddha.
