Dharma Wheels - (chos 'khor); causal teachings;

First Turning; (chos 'khor dang po) - First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma. The teachings focusing on Renunciation,Karma, and the four noble truths. [RY]

Second Turning; (the Middle) (chos 'khor gnyis pa) - Second Turning of the Wheel of Dharma. The teachings emphasizing 'Emptiness,' that all phenomena are devoid of a self-entity and true existence [RY]

Third Turning; (the Final) (chos 'khor gsum pa) - Third Turning of the Wheel of Dharma. The last teachings of the Buddha including the sutras on the definitive meaning.
