Drubthob Chöjung Rinchen (1351-1408) took novice ordination a age twelve and full ordination at age thirty two. Six years later he met with Jagchen Jampa Pal and received from him the complete transmission of the Jagpa lineage of Shangpa Kagyu teachings. He settled in Nenying and Yol and spent most of his time, until his death, in seclusion.
