Processed salt medicine. The notice for mtshal tshwa concludes the Medicinal salt chapter and ends with a resuming phrase enumerating the different salt types.
The Shel gong gives tam ka na and ksha ra na as synonym for mtshal (cinnabar). The synonyms taṅkaṇa refers rather to borax, and kṣara is a general word for alkali and is rendered by thal sman, medicinal ashes or calcinated matter (wisdomlib.org)
