(med) Soot, smoke (Yeshi 2018). Synonym : dud pa ral pa (Yeshi 2018)

(med) Soot, consisting essentially of carbon from the smoke of wood or coal, esp. that which adheres to the inside of the chimney, containing also volatile products condensed from the combustion of the wood or coal, including certain ammonia salts (mindat.org).
The Shel phreng has 2 distinct notices, rdo sol (coal?) and sol rdo (charcoal?). Further medicinal carbonized matter is reported, like dud pa, slang dreg, rgya snag or ga bur nag po.
