"Elephant Trunk," in the north, so called because it was built on a hill shaped like an elephant's trunk. It was founded by two Drigung masters, Drubtob Nyemowa Samten Ph�ntsok (grub thob snye mo ba bsam gtan phun tshogs) and his reincarnation Kunga Lodr� Nyingpo (kun dga' blo gros snying po); one of the eight monasteries around Manasarovar [MR] [RY]
