a direct disciple of Situ Rinpoche, Ch�kyi Jungney, who preserved and transmitted his tradition of Tibetan grammar through his own family lineage. He wrote several important grammar texts, including the Situ Zhal Lung which was especially important because it made the great grammar of Situ Rinpoche much more accessible to the average person.
