Ngor Ewam Chöden; The second most important monastery of the Sakya school was founded in 1429 by Ngorchen Kunga Sangpo (1382-1444). It became famous for being the seat of the Lamdrey teachings, and sheltered a rich library which included a large collection of Sanskrit manuscripts
