Shing Kyong Kunga Zhonnu

zhing skyong kun dga' gzhon nu, a dharma protector particularly popular with the Nyingma and Kagyu schools. Closely associated with the lineage of the Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoches and their monastery of Benchen. He is also considered to be the protector of Dewachen (bde ba chen), the pure realm of the buddha Amitabha.
The Thangka shown in the picture was painte by the present 12th Tai Situpa when he was very young and given to the former 9th Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche.
