-The present '''Dzigar Kongtrul''', Jigme Namgyel, was born in Northern India, just before his father, the third [[Neten Chokling Rinpoche]], established the Tibetan community settlement of Bir. When Rinpoche was nine years old, his father Chokling Rinpoche passed away.
