- Khyentse Wangchuk (1524-1568) Founder of Khyenri school of painting at Zhalu Monastery of the Tharpa Sakya Lineage - One of the two foremost student of Tsarchen Losal Gyatso, together these two play a very pivotal roll within the Tsarpa, Lamdre, and Sakya lineage at large.
