Manjushri
Manjushri ('jam dpal dbyangs). One of the eight main bodhisattvas. He is the personification of the perfection of transcendent knowledge.
Manjushri, the Buddha of wisdom, sometimes also considered as a Bodhisattva. Also, 'jam dpal gzhon nu as peaceful, ever youthful. [RY]
