non-arising nature of mind. In the aspect of ultimate truth, all phenomena are devoid of an independent, concrete identity and have therefore no basis for such attributes as 'arising, dwelling, and ceasing' i.e. coming into being, remaining in time and place, and ceasing to exist [RY]
