Rigdzin Ling, located in the Trinity Alps of Northern California was founded by HE Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche and was his main seat in North America. It continues to thrive as a retreat center offering anual retreats in the Nyingma tradition as well as three annual Drubchens and lama dancing.

Lama Padma Drimed Norbu is the spiritual head of Rigdzin Ling following in the tradition established by Chagdud Rinpoche. Rigdzin Ling is dedicated to preserving the practice traditions of the Nyingma tradition in the West.
