An important lineageholder of the [[Karma Kagyu]] tradition. The [[1st Gyaltsab Rinpoche]] was given the honorary title of Goshri by the Chinese emperor. The [[2nd Gyaltsab Rinpoche]] received a red crown from the [[7th Karmapa]], both as recognition of his outstanding realisation and as a sign of the deep connection between the two.
