'''Gavin Kilty''' was born in the UK in 1948. He teaches English as a second language to international students at a private college in Devon, as well as courses on Mahayana Buddhism at [[Sharpham College of Buddhist Studies]]. He also teaches courses each year on Tibetan language in both the UK and India. He studied the basic monastic cirriculum of the the Gelug school for eight years at the [[Buddhist School of Dialectics]] in [[Dharamsala]], and has interpreted many times for several Lamas.
