Eight Tibetan Vidyadharas (bod kyi rig 'dzin brgyad). Eight accomplished disciples of Guru Rinpoche who attained realization through grub pa bka' brgyad. RY.
- Eight disciples (rje 'bangs brgyad). The eight chief recipients in Tibet of the Eight Sadhana Teachings transmitted by Guru Rinpoche: King Trisong Deutsen, Namkhai Nyingpo, Sangye Yeshe of Nub, Gyalwa Cho-yang, Yeshe Tsogyal, Palgyi Yeshe, Palgyi Senge, and Vairotsana.
