Heart-orb (śrīvatsa)

  • One of the thirty-two designated major marks characterising the buddha-body of emanation (Skt. nirmāṇakāya). In the context of the present work, the heart-orb symbol appears at the centre of the auspicious trigram formation known as Growth through Glory (dpal bskyed). See Part II, pp. 000-000, and Part V, pp. 000-000. GD (from the Glossary to Tibetan Elemental Divination Paintings)
