Brief History[edit]
Once, Jamyang Kyentse Wangpo (1820-1892) had a talk with the 10th Kenting Tai Situpa. He said, "I fail to do any help for your dharma teachings this life, but, certainly I would like to make a wish to contribute my next life generously to your dharma activities."
- It seem that because the 1st Palpung Khyentse was born to the Beru (Be ri) King, that he was sometimes known as Beru Khyentse, which it would seem spawned a new line formally known as the Beru Khyentse or Palpung Beru Khyentse. But this is a preliminary statement as this point, because this is a lot of discrepancies between the information that the present Beru Khyentse and the Palpung Monastery have to offer. Though there is no doubt there both talking about the same Tulku with regards to the 1st Palpung Khyentse.[BL]
- I have yet to come up with the names of the 2nd incarnation and this young tulku they call the 3rd Palpung Khyentse, but it seems Kalu Karma Rangjung Kunkyab studied with a Palpung Khyentse Shenpen Ozer, which is said to be the 1st but I'm not yet sure if that just another name or maybe just maybe they got the numbers wrong, thought unlikely I feel.[BL]
