Mahakala, Palden Lhamo, Ekajati, Damchen Dorje Legpa etc. Dharma protectors are further subdivided into the three classes of: awareness protectors (ye she kyi mgon po), activity protectors (las kyi mgon po) and worldly protectors ('jig rten mgon po). Again for those who don't seem to know the difference: Vajrapani, Vajrayogini etc. are YIDAM deities. Their function is an entirely different one as those of Dharma Protectors!!! Ergo: they DO NOT belong in this category!!! Ask your lamas!!! And it's not a matter of interpretation either. Start a new category YIDAM deities!!! (TSD)
