The page on Lama Gonpo Tseten was created to give others the opportunity to get to know a very great teacher, though I was the least of those connected with him and make no claims to anything. I trust that his senior students will make changes or additions as they think best.

I just wanted to make clear, are you talking about the great Dzogchen Khenpo Thubga when you say Thupten Chopel? This was his full name and he was the head Khenpo at Dzogchen Shedra before Botrul Dongak Tenpe Nyima came and took over that role for him. Thus these two where the Khenpos to just about every one of our great khenpos and Lamas of the last 75 to 85 years. Anyway if so the name can be redirected to link it to the bio-page if this is who your talking about.Bj Lhundrup

Changma Khenchen Thubten Chöpel aka Bathur Khenpo Thupga, or Thubga Yishyin Norbu (1886-1956) — an important student of Khenpo Yönga and Orgyen Tenzin Norbu who followed in the footsteps of Patrul Rinpoche. He was renowned for his great scholarship, especially in relation to the Guhyagarbha Tantra, his contribution to the flourishing of the monastic tradition, and his realization of the Dzogchen teachings. Some of his most important students were: Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok, Gonpo Tseten Rinpoche, Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche and the Sixth Dzogchen Rinpoche, Jigdral Changchub Dorje.
