Short Biography[edit]

Orgyen Tendzin Norbu The nephew of Gyalse Shenpen Thaye and thus known as Onpo Tendizn Norbu. One of the foremost disciples and lineage holders of Patrul Rinpoche, he was a supreme scholar.


ཨོ་རྒྱན་རིག་འཛིན་ཆེན་པོའི་རིང་ལུགས་ལ། །
You hold the victory banner for the doctrines of teaching and practice—
བཤད་སྒྲུབ་བསྟན་པའི་རྒྱལ་མཚན་འཛིན་མཛད་ཅིང༌། །
Of the great Vidyadhara Uddiyana’s own tradition,
ཡོན་ཏན་ནོར་བུའི་མཛོད་མངའ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྗེ། །
Jewel treasury of qualities, mighty lord of dharma,
དཔལ་ལྡན་བླ་མའི་ཞབས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས།། །།
Glorious master (Önpo Tendzin Norbu), at you lotus feet I pray!
