(Tib. phur ba; Skt. kilaya). A three-sided ritual dagger, such as that held by the deity Vajrakilaya. It symbolizes the transformation of the three main mental poisons (kleshas) into the three kayas (bodies or dimensions) of buddhahood and the cutting of all outer, inner, and secret obstacles on the path to enlightenment.
