The Domestic goat, Capra hircus, most likely descended from C. aegagrus which is from Central Asia (animaldiversity.org).

'Wild goat', ra rgod, is a very general term. It includes a number of genera and species, like the Himalayan tahr, Hemitragus jemlahicus, living on the southern slopes of the Himalaya. The thangka image comes close to a Goa, may be it shows a feral form of the domestic goat.
