The tibetan type classification is heterogenous. Shel gong shel phreng mentiones only a big type, 'jib rtsi chen po, with white and blue sub-types. It is synonymous with pri yang ku. Others have different classifications, but the medicinal properties are basically identical (Kletter 2001).
jib rtsi chen po is a type of pri yang ku, but bigger, more fragrant and very sweet at the base of the flower. Some identify it as a type of zhim thig, but 'jib rtsi has fragrant leaves and flowers and a sticky nature which is not found in zhim thig dkar po (Dawa 2009)
