- Arali the courtisan attained a vision of the heruka mandala through the practice of Buddha Samayoga and became capable of reducing the “cities of heretics” to dust. She composed the scripture on the Great Perfection known as the Luminosity of Awakened Mind (byang chub kyi sems 'od gsal). Arali became the teacher of Nagarjuna Garbha.
