Bell (dril bu)

• A ritual implement, symbolic of emptiness, which is most frequently held in conjunction with the vajra or the skull-drum. GD (from the Glossary to Tibetan Elemental Divination Paintings)

(ghant, dril bu). As a Tantric implement, symbolizes the Wisdom which directly comprehends Emptiness. It is held in the left hand (female side), while the vajra is held in the right. [RY]
