• The calculation of the natal year is important in natal horoscope ([[Part IV, pp. 000-000), in divinations concerning marital compatibility ([[Part V, pp. 000-000), and in divinations which examine the conjunction of certain trigrams with the natal year to determine obstacle years ([[Part VI, pp. 000-000). In particular, diverse readings are given in natal horoscope for each of the sixty natal years of the sexagenary cycle, taking into account whether any of the elemental aspects of the natal year (vvitality, body, destiny or luck) is inhibited (gcod 'dral kha dmar).
