'phags pa'i bden pa bzhi

The first teaching of the Buddha, covering suffering, the origin of suffering, the cessation of suffering, and the path to the cessation of suffering.

The four noble truths, as listed in http://read.84000.co/translation/UT22084-031-002.html#UT22084-031-002-153, comprise (1) the noble truth of suffering, (2) the noble truth of the origin of suffering, (3) the noble truth of the cessation of suffering, and (4) the noble truth of the path.
