Meaning: 1. To be out of breath, to pant, to feel oppressed (e.g. when plunged into cold water, but especially when frightened and terrified). 2. To be frightened, to fear, to be afraid of CD. To suffocate, to be out of breath; to choke, to be frightened DK. Same as sngangs DS. To gasp, to pant [out of fear]. 2. To be afraid, to be terrified TC.
