1. Gagea serotina (L.) Ker Gawl. (Liliaceae) Snowdon lily (Wangyal 2020)

a ba has three varieties. The mchog (superior) variety called bdud rtsi a wa grows on rocky mountains with no flower and fruit and resembles assembled needles. The 'bring (medium) variety called a wa dar ljang is thread shaped. The one with silky thread like stalk and slightly white flower is said to be mo (female) and that without flower is said to be pho (male). The last or the dman pa (inferior) variety is also called a 'dra resembles Hog's bristles. It has whitish green hog's bristle like leaves which grow in a small cluster on meadows.' (Dawa 1999)
