Orpiment or Yellow arsenic (Arsenic sulphide, As2S3) is commonly found as an alteration product of arsenic minerals, especially realgar (ldong ros).
The indian names haritāla and tālaka denotes orpiment. Tālaka has 2 types, dalākhya/patratāla (scaly/rustic variety) and aśmasaṃjñaka/piṇḍatāla (stony variety) (wisdomlib.org).
