(med) Goatsucker or Eurasian Nightjar, Caprimulgus europaeus (Phrin Las 1987). bya lbang sha, Goatsucker flesh (Phrin Las 1987). Nightjars do not favor dense forest or high mountains, but prefer glades, meadows and other open or lightly forested zones that are free from daytime disturbances in a range from Ireland in the west through Mongolia and eastern Russia in the east. Members of subspecies C. europaeus unwini ranges through the Middle East, Central Asia and western China. (animaldiversity.org)
