slowly, gradually [IW]

1) slowly, steadily, at length; 2) gradually, bit by bit, little by little, by degrees; 3) gently, softly, lightly, smoothly, mildly, delicately; 4) taking one's time, in one's own good time, slowly but surely; 5) leisurely, easily, relaxed; 6) go easy!, take it easy!, slow down!, calm down!. Sometimes spelled ga ler ga ler or ga le ga le. Other variations on this phrase in Colloquial Tibetan are ga ler byas nas and ga le ga ler byas nas. Erick Tsiknopoulos
