Syn (chos skyong pho nya) servant. Dharma protector; 1) a guardian of the teachings. 2) a protector who obeys the command. RY

Command Guardians, Teaching Guardians, Precept Guardians, Instruction Guardians. Similar to bstan srung, bstan skyong, chos srung and chos skyong. See also bka' skyong. ET
